Island Mobile Vet is dedicated to making the passing of our pets the as minimally stressful as possible for the people as well as the pet. Dealing with losing a pet is stressful enough without having to worry about the stress for the pet and the procedure and what to do after, etc. For that reason we sedate most pets prior to euthanasia. This allows the pet a stress free passing and takes away the fear most animals experience associated with being brought to a veterinary clinic.
There is no better or comforting place than their home being surrounded by the people they love.
We provide several options for the remains. These include a communal cremation where the ashes are spread at sea, or a private cremation where you can have your loved ones ashes back to do with what you please.
